Coral Gables Art Cinema will screen five horror films back-to-back on Halloween, and nobody gets to know what they are.

The nonprofit theater's first Art House of Horror marathon starts at midnight Saturday, Oct. 31, with doors opening at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at 260 Aragon Ave. Tickets cost $50 for nonmembers and $45 for Cinema and After Hours members. The only clue the cinema has offered: every title is rated R.

The cinema is keeping the five film titles secret. The program includes trivia, prizes and surprises between screenings. Costumes are encouraged.

The marathon is part of After Hours, the cinema's late-night series featuring cult classics and international films. The cinema staged a similar overnight event called "Up All Nite" in October 2015. That lineup included "The Thing," "Night of the Demons," David Lynch's "Eraserhead" and "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre."

This time, anyone who lasts until morning gets free coffee and a light breakfast from Books & Books and Café Demetrio.

The cinema commissioned a limited-edition commemorative shirt from Brian Reedy, a Miami printmaker and Miami-Dade public school art teacher. Reedy was named Best Illustrator in Miami New Times' 2026 Best of Miami awards. His woodcuts and linocuts draw on pop culture, mythology and gothic imagery, and his work has appeared on apparel sold through Hot Topic. In 2025, the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood presented "Gothic Pop Prints," an exhibition featuring more than 10 of his prints inspired by hauntings and the Lizzie Borden murders.

Buyers can preorder a preferred size when purchasing tickets through the cinema's event page while supplies last.

The cinema's online schedule lists the event running from 11:59 p.m. Friday to 8:59 a.m. Saturday.
