A free piano recital and a pickleball fundraiser will give Coral Gables residents two November events to put on their calendars: pianist Paul Ji performs Nov. 8 at Granada Church, and NF Day with the Docs & Pickleball takes place Nov. 14 at the Biltmore Tennis Center.

Pickleball for NF families

The Neurofibromatosis Network and Dr. Mislen Bauer of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital NF Clinic are hosting the pickleball event at 1150 Anastasia Ave.

The day begins with an educational session from 10 to 11 a.m. in the center’s second-floor event room, according to the NF Network’s event page. Pickleball follows from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on six outdoor courts, divided into two one-hour sessions.

Play is free for NF patients and their families. Other participants are asked for a suggested $30 donation. Organizers will try to match doubles players of similar skill levels, and a professional coach will offer instruction. Beginners and spectators are welcome. Each session is limited to 24 players.

The event listing on Soul of Miami also advertises food and door prizes.

The Chopin Foundation of the United States opens its 2026-27 Chopin for All season in Coral Gables with Paul Ji at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Granada Church, 950 University Drive.
