The Coral Gables Economic Development Board is scheduled to discuss a residential survey at its meeting Wednesday, Nov. 4. The agenda lists the survey as item 3 but gives no information about its subject, questions or methodology.
The meeting begins at 8 a.m. at Fink Studio, 2506 Ponce de Leon Blvd. The agenda lists Zoom access under Meeting ID 892 4453 0342.
Downtown activities and a business tax license report are items 4 and 5. The report also appeared on the board’s Aug. 5, Sept. 2 and Oct. 7 agendas, according to the city’s meeting archive.
Chair Thad Adams leads the seven-member board. Vice Chair James Kohnstamm and members Nguyen Cabanilla, Aron Eizenstat, Tim Heffernan, Ivette Arango O’Doski and Scott Shuffield also serve on the board.
The board is scheduled to consider draft minutes from its Aug. 5 and Sept. 2 meetings. Draft minutes from the Oct. 7 meeting are not listed on the Nov. 4 agenda. The board’s next meeting is scheduled for Dec. 2.
At its Oct. 7 meeting, the board discussed a business visitation survey and heard a downtown workforce update from Economic Development Director Belkys Perez, the Gables Gazette reported.
Perez said employment in the central business district reached about 12,400 workers in the first half of 2026, roughly 3% above the 2019 baseline of about 12,000. Employee visits remained at about 92% of 2019 levels, which she attributed to hybrid work schedules, the Gazette reported.
