Pinecrest residents can bring questions directly to village leaders Thursday, Oct. 8, when Vice Mayor Ken Fairman hosts a free "Conversations with Council" session at Evelyn Greer Park.

The session runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the park, 8200 SW 124th St. Residents can meet Police Chief Jason Cohen, Parks and Recreation Director Robert Mattes and Public Works Director David Mendez before an open discussion with Fairman, according to the Village of Pinecrest.

Seating is limited, and the village is asking residents to RSVP through Eventbrite.

Fairman, who was elected to the Village Council's at-large seat in 2022 and currently serves as vice mayor, is also seeking Seat 4 in the Nov. 3 municipal election. Ramon Gonzalez-Diez and Jill Lerner also qualified for the race.
