Arlan Maltez has moved his custom tailoring business from South Dixie Highway to a new storefront at 2100 Coral Way, Suite 200-7, placing Aziari European Clothing for Men on a high-demand Coral Gables retail corridor.

The relocation, announced Thursday, Aug. 13, by Miami's Community Newspapers after publisher Grant Miller visited the new space, lands in a tight retail market. Coral Gables' citywide retail vacancy stood at roughly 2% as of May 2026, according to Economic Development Director Belkys Perez's update to the Mayor's Citizens Advisory Council. Over 40,000 square feet of downtown retail space had been leased by that point.

Maltez, who has spent three decades in the men's clothing industry, described his commitment to offering the "best of the best" in custom garments and professional alterations, Community Newspapers reported. The shop specializes in custom-made and made-to-measure suits, sport coats, trousers and other tailored pieces using Italian fabrics, with custom orders requiring a four-to-five-week turnaround, according to the business's website.

The shop also handles alterations for women and children and offers monogramming. For clients who can't make it to the store, Maltez provides home and office visits by appointment for consultations and fittings.

Aziari previously operated at 6633 South Dixie Hwy. The specific reason for leaving that location has not been disclosed publicly; Community Newspapers described the move as a strategic effort to enhance the client experience.

The new shop is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday by appointment. Customers can reach Aziari at 786-502-8998 or 305-781-7272 to schedule a visit.
