Pinecrest will fully close Southwest 72nd Avenue for four days starting Tuesday, Sept. 22, as crews mill and repave the road as part of a drainage system project.
Closure runs 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily
The closure will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day through Friday, Sept. 25, according to a village notice published Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Southwest 99th Street will also be closed to through traffic during the same hours. Residents who live on the street will still be able to reach their homes.
One day of milling, three days of paving
The schedule calls for one day of milling on both roads, followed by three days of paving.
Residents will get 48-hour notice by mail
Households on the affected streets and along Southwest 71st Avenue will receive a door hanger notice at least 48 hours before work begins, the village said.
