Zucca, the Italian restaurant inside Hotel St. Michel at 162 Alcazar Ave., is adding a Sunday brunch for the first time in its nine years in downtown Coral Gables.
The new brunch is part of the restaurant's Miami Spice 2026 lineup. Community Newspapers first reported the offering on Aug. 11. The three-course, $40 prix-fixe menu runs noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays through Sept. 30.
Starters include tuna tartare with avocado mousse and fried zucchini flowers with goat cheese and truffle honey. Main courses include pappardelle with lamb ragù and homemade bucatini cacio e pepe finished with shaved black truffle. A sweeter option pairs French toast with pistachio cream and chocolate.
It is Zucca's first brunch.
The Sunday menu joins two other Miami Spice offerings at the restaurant: a $40 lunch served daily from noon to 4 p.m. featuring spaghetti carbonara, mezzi paccheri with shrimp ragù and grilled hanger steak with crispy truffled polenta, and a $65 dinner available daily from 5 to 10 p.m. Dinner highlights include beef tartare with Parmigiano tuile, truffle caviar and truffle aioli, braised beef tortelloni with Parmigiano fondue, wild mushroom risotto with summer truffle and Roman-style veal cutlets.
Zucca is operated by Da Silva Hospitality Group, which opened the restaurant in 2017 after Erasmo Da Silva, son of Portuguese-born founder José Da Silva, led the family's expansion into the U.S. market. The restaurant occupies a space inside the 1926-era Hotel St. Michel that previously housed the iconic Restaurant St Michel for 35 years.
Da Silva Hospitality is also planning Zuccaly, an Italian food hall concept announced in June for Plaza Coral Gables.
A portion of every Miami Spice order at Zucca supports the We Love Foundation, a Miami-based 501(c)(3) founded in 2013 that funds community programs in Florida and more than 20 countries.
As we reported Aug. 1, Miami Spice 2026 launched with 28 Coral Gables restaurants participating and a record 405 venues countywide. Drinks, tax and gratuity are not included in the prix-fixe prices.
Reservations can be made directly with the restaurant at 162 Alcazar Ave.
